Multiple MCS support using an enhanced version of the MARS server. Status of this Memo This document is an Internet-Draft. Internet-Drafts are working documents of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), its areas, and its working groups. Note that other groups may also distribute working documents as Internet-Drafts. Internet-Drafts are draft documents valid for a maximum of six months and may be updated, replaced, or obsoleted by other documents at any time. It is inappropriate to use Internet-Drafts as reference material or to cite them other than as ''work in progress.'' To learn the current status of any Internet-Draft, please check the ''1id-abstracts.txt'' listing contained in the Internet-Drafts Shadow Directories on ds.internic.net (US East Coast), nic.nordu.net (Europe), Abstract The basic Multicast Server architecture for layer 3 multicast over ATM has been described in draft-ietf-ion-marsmcs-01.txt. It includes a mechanism for fault tolerance using multiple MCSs. However no support for sharing senders/receivers of a group across multiple MCSs has been provided. This document aims to satisfy this need by involving an enhanced version of the MARS in the load sharing and fault tolerance mechanism. This approach is an improvement over the previous one as it subverts the need for any inter-MCS synchronization mechanisms.

Finite element analysis of a rigid beam to column connection reinforced with channels

Abstract: This research work presents a new rigid connection constructed with channels. In order to assess its hysteresis behavior, three specimens with different cover plates and six specimens with different panel zone thickness have been considered. The energy absorbed by the connection and the behavior of the panel zone were studied during cyclic loading and compared with those of connectio...

Solving the Mystery of Dengue in Iran; Are We Close to an Answer?

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne infection which is endemic in Southeast Asia. Although it has not been distributed in Iran, locating near other countries where the Dengue has been revealed is a threat for Iran because different connection between countries may increase the rate of infection.

Performance Analysis for a System of Connection Oriented Internet Service with a Release Delay

In this paper, we propose the use of a discrete-time connection oriented Internet service system with a release delay for broadband, high-speed, high-capacity and high-reliability Internet requirements. The release delay called close-delay is set before the release process of a connection. An upper limit length T called timer length is set as a system parameter for the close-delay period. We bu...

Yearning for connection? Loneliness is associated with increased ventral striatum activity to close others.

Loneliness is a distressing state indicating that one's basic need for social connection is not being met. In an effort to satisfy the need for social connection, loneliness may increase the processing of social cues and desire to connect with others. Yet the neural substrates that contribute to the drive for increased connection in response to loneliness are not known. The ventral striatum (VS...

Permutation groups and the graph isomorphism problem

In this article, we discuss various algorithms for permutation group theoretic problems and study its close connection to the graph isomorphism problem. Motivated by this close connection, the last part of this article explores the group representability problem and mention some open problems that arise in this context.

Cardinality, Counting, and Equinumerosity

Frege, famously, held that there is a close connection between our concept of cardinal number and the notion of one-one correspondence, a connection enshrined in Hume’s Principle. Husserl, and later Parsons, objected that there is no such close connection, that our most primitive conception of cardinality arises from our grasp of the practice of counting. Some empirical work on children’s devel...
